Review of 21 + 3 Blackjack Online

A multifaceted online edition of a long-popular card-comparing game, 21 + 3 Blackjack offers European-style Blackjack and a Three Card Poker side game.

This is a lot less complicated than it sounds. The Three Card Poker game does not affect the Blackjack game in any way.

The Poker side game, if won, can pay as much as 100 times the player’s bet. The side game is based on the first two cards dealt to the player, as well as the one face-up card dealt to the dealer.

Blackjack is the Main Focus

Blackjack is central to 21 + 3 Blackjack, as players may guess from the name of the game. Despite the addition of the Poker side game, the main game is based on the well-known European version.

Six decks of cards are used per game, and the dealer usually draws on 16 and stands on 17. All ties between the player and the dealer are a push.

The player needs to get the value of their hand of cards to 21, or as close to 21 as possible. The player needs to keep in mind that, if the value of their hand of cards is higher than 21, they go bust and lose the game.

Important Rules in 21 + 3 Blackjack

If the 21 + 3 Blackjack player or dealer is dealt an initial hand valued at 21, it is known as a Blackjack. Unless the player and the dealer both receive a Blackjack and tie, a dealer Blackjack will beat all other player outcomes.

The player ought to remember that a Blackjack is only possible on the initial two-card deal. If a player has split or re-split a hand, and then makes 21, that hand will pay out on the odds of a 21.

The highest number of cards a player may draw per hand is eight. If the player has a hand of eight cards, the value of which is not greater than 21, the player will beat the dealer, unless the dealer has a Blackjack.

Three Card Poker on the Side

The Three Card Poker side bet that the player has the option of placing in online 21 + 3 Blackjack is only available at the start of each game. The bet will pay out if the player’s first two cards, together with the dealer’s one face-up card, form a winning Poker hand.

The highest-paying hand that could be formed is a Suited Three of a Kind. This hand is made up of three cards of the same suit and rank. Examples would be three sevens of hearts or three queens of spades.

The second highest-paying hand is a Straight Flush. This would be three cards of the same suit, but of consecutive ranks. An example would be a hand made up of the three, four, and five of diamonds.

The third highest-paying hand in the side game in 21 + 3 Blackjack is Three of a Kind, which is made up of three cards whose rank is the same, but whose suits differ. An example would be the threes of hearts, diamonds, and clubs.

The fourth highest-paying hand is a Straight. This is three consecutive cards from different suits, and the Ace can be valued at one or 11 in such a hand.

The fifth highest-paying hand would be a Flush, which is made up of three same-suit cards.
